L.D. Dermody began in the 1950s when Larry Dermody started the business from his home in Scarborough. He envisioned a family-run company that offered simple, affordable insurance to the Greater Toronto Area. In 1982, his son, Brian Dermody, took the next step by establishing the brokerage we know today, expanding it through the acquisition of smaller brokerages. Now, third-generation owner Dan Wickson carries on this legacy, focused on providing affordable insurance solutions that meet the needs of their clients.
